The 11th generation occupies a sweet spot in Pakistan’s laptop market that no other generation matches. These 2021 machines are new enough to run everything properly: quad-core chips, Intel Iris Xe graphics, Thunderbolt ports and full official Windows 11 support. And because companies abroad have finished upgrading past them, Pakistan is flooded with fresh-imported 11th Gen business laptops at half the price of equivalent new machines. This guide covers what they cost and which ones to buy.

Almost everything in this table is used, and it is worth understanding what “used” means here. These are not battered local machines. They are laptops that spent three or four years on desks in the US, UK or Gulf, then shipped to Pakistan in bulk. Traders clean them, fit fresh SSDs where needed and sell them with a short shop checking warranty rather than a manufacturer warranty. The hardware itself (EliteBook, Latitude, ProBook) was built for exactly this lifecycle, which is why an 11th Gen business laptop at Rs. 78,000 usually outlasts a brand-new consumer laptop at the same price.
Why 11th Gen is the smart used buy
Three reasons. First, performance: the i5-1145G7 and its siblings are proper quad-core chips with Iris Xe graphics, fast enough for office suites, fifty-tab browsing, Figma, student programming and even light video editing. Second, platform: these machines have USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, fast NVMe SSDs and Wi-Fi 6, and Microsoft officially supports them for Windows 11, so they will keep receiving updates for years. Third, price: the same money in the new market buys a Celeron or Athlon machine that feels slow within a year. If you are cross-shopping, our best laptops under Rs. 100,000 in Pakistan guide weighs these 11th Gen machines against the 8th and 10th Gen options under one lakh.
Which 11th Gen machine to buy
HP EliteBook 840 G8 (Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 82,000) is the default recommendation. Aluminium body, good keyboard, replaceable battery design on most units, and parts in every major market. Get the 16GB version if the price gap is small; it is the difference between fine now and fine in 2028.
Dell Latitude 5420 (from Rs. 66,000) undercuts it and is just as dependable, if a little less premium in feel. At Rs. 66,000 for the i5 with 8/256, it is one of the best value listings we found anywhere in the used market.
HP EliteBook 840 G8 with i7 (Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 98,000) only makes sense in 16/512 touchscreen form. The i7-1185G7 is faster than the i5, but not Rs. 15,000 faster in daily work. Buy it for the bigger SSD and screen, not the badge.
A word on “new” 11th Gen listings
You will occasionally see sealed 11th Gen consumer laptops listed at well over Rs. 200,000. At that money, walk away: current 12th and 13th Gen machines are faster, supported longer and covered by real warranties. Our 12th generation laptop price in Pakistan guide shows what new money buys now, and the Core i5 laptop price in Pakistan guide covers the current retail range from Rs. 139,999.
Checks before you pay
- Battery report (powercfg /batteryreport): fresh imports should still show 70 percent health or better.
- BIOS locks: confirm there is no supervisor password and no Computrace-style lock before money changes hands.
- SSD health and size: some traders downgrade storage; confirm 256GB minimum and check the wear percentage.
- Screen: EliteBooks came with both standard and low-power panels; the brighter panel is worth paying a little extra for.
- Charger wattage and a written checking warranty of at least seven days from the shop.
- Quad-core performance, Iris Xe graphics and Thunderbolt 4 at Rs. 66,000 to Rs. 98,000, far cheaper than equivalent new laptops.
- Official Windows 11 support means years of security updates still ahead.
- Business-grade build quality designed for a second life; parts and batteries are widely available.
- Almost no factory-sealed new stock; you are buying used with a shop checking warranty, not a manufacturer warranty.
- Prices for the same model vary by Rs. 10,000 or more between traders depending on RAM, SSD and battery health.
- The Core i7 versions are poor value unless they come with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Frequently asked questions
What is the price of an 11th generation laptop in Pakistan?
Fresh-imported used 11th Gen business laptops run from about Rs. 66,000 (Dell Latitude 5420) to Rs. 98,000 (HP EliteBook 840 G8 with Core i7), based on listings checked in October 2026.
Are 11th generation laptops still good in 2026?
Yes. They are quad-core machines with modern graphics, fast storage and official Windows 11 support. For office work, study and light editing they are the best value used buy in Pakistan right now.
Should I buy 11th Gen used or 12th Gen new?
If your budget is under Rs. 100,000, the used 11th Gen machine is faster and better built than anything new at that price. Above Rs. 140,000, buy new 12th or 13th Gen for the warranty.
EliteBook 840 G8 i5 or i7, which one?
The i5 with 16GB RAM. The i7 is only worth it when the specific unit also brings a 512GB SSD or touchscreen at Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 98,000.
Do 11th Gen laptops support Windows 11?
Yes, officially. That is one of the main reasons to choose 11th Gen over cheaper 7th Gen stock.
