MG ZS Price in Pakistan: Variants, Specs and Features

The MG ZS price in Pakistan starts at Rs 6,599,000 and goes up to Rs 7,699,000 for the all-new second-generation model. MG Motors Pakistan launched the new ZS on July 29, 2026 with three variants: the petrol Vibe and two Hybrid+ trims, the Excite and the Essence.

This is not a facelift of the old ZS. It is a fully new generation with a bigger body, a new look inside and out, larger screens, the MG Pilot driver-assistance suite, and for the first time in the ZS lineup in Pakistan, a self-charging hybrid option.

The table below shows the current ex-factory prices of all three MG ZS variants in Pakistan.

A note on the prices: at launch in July 2026, MG had priced the range at Rs 6,599,000, Rs 7,099,000 and Rs 7,499,000. The hybrid prices were revised later after a change in the tax treatment of hybrid vehicles, and MG also ran a price lock for the hybrids till September 30, 2026. The prices in the table are the current listed prices as of October 2026, but it is still wise to confirm the final figure with an MG dealership before booking.

What Is New in the Second-Generation MG ZS

The new ZS is longer and wider than the car it replaces. It measures 4,430 mm long, 1,818 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall, with a 2,610 mm wheelbase. The cabin is roomier and the design is completely new, with a wider grille, slimmer headlights and stronger crossover lines.

Inside, the tech has moved up a level. The petrol Vibe gets a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with a 3.5-inch TFT instrument display, while the Hybrid+ variants get a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available across the lineup.

Safety is another big step. Six airbags are standard on all variants along with the MG Pilot driver-assistance suite, and MG Pakistan highlights a 5-star ANCAP safety rating for the new-generation ZS petrol.

MG ZS Vibe: The Petrol Option

The Vibe is the only non-hybrid version of the new ZS. It uses a 1,495 cc naturally aspirated petrol engine making about 107 hp and 142 Nm, paired with a CVT driving the front wheels. It carries a larger 55-liter fuel tank, runs on 17-inch wheels, and gets halogen headlights, a reverse camera, adaptive cruise control, push-button start and hill start assist among its features.

The Vibe suits buyers who want the new ZS design, space and safety kit without paying for hybrid hardware.

MG ZS Hybrid+ Excite and Essence

The Excite and Essence share the same Hybrid+ powertrain: a 1,498 cc petrol engine working with an electric motor and a 1.83 kWh battery to produce 158 kW, or about 212 hp combined, with 465 Nm of combined torque. Power goes to the front wheels through a 3-speed hybrid transmission, and there are Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes with three levels of energy regeneration.

This is a self-charging hybrid, so it never needs to be plugged in. The battery charges itself while you drive and brake. MG gives an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery.

Both hybrids ride on 18-inch wheels and get LED headlights, a 360-degree camera, rear AC vents, automatic climate control and the same big screens. The difference is equipment: the Excite has fabric seats and a manually adjustable driver’s seat, while the Essence adds PVC upholstery, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof and an electric tailgate.

MG ZS Fuel Average

An honest word here: MG Pakistan has not published an official km/L fuel average figure for the new ZS. PakWheels estimates 10 to 13 km/L for the Vibe and 17 to 23 km/L for the Hybrid+ variants. Treat these as estimates, not official claims. Real fuel average will depend on traffic, speed, driving style and AC use.

Safety Features

Six airbags come standard across the lineup. The MG Pilot suite includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, emergency lane keep assist, intelligent cruise assist, intelligent speed limit assist, blind spot detection, lane change assist, rear collision warning, rear cross traffic alert, door opening warning, a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program, traction control, hill start assist and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. MG Pakistan also highlights a 5-star ANCAP safety rating for the new-generation ZS petrol and an 81% high-strength steel body frame.

MG ZS vs Rivals

The petrol Vibe competes with conventional compact crossovers like the Honda HR-V petrol and the Peugeot 2008. The Hybrid+ Excite and Essence sit against electrified crossovers such as the Honda HR-V e:HEV, the Haval Jolion HEV and the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. Shoppers comparing hybrid options can also check the Toyota Corolla price in Pakistan, since Toyota’s hybrid lineup is the closest benchmark for the ZS Hybrid+ twins.

On paper, the MG’s biggest edge is the Hybrid+ system’s 212 hp and 465 Nm, which is strong for this segment. Rivals answer with wider dealer networks, longer resale track records and, in some cases, better cabin space.

Should You Buy the MG ZS?

If you want a modern compact crossover with strong safety kit and big screens at a competitive price, the Vibe is a sensible pick. If you want power and efficiency together, the Hybrid+ Excite gives you the full 212 hp powertrain without the top-trim price, while the Essence is for buyers who want every feature, including the panoramic sunroof and electric tailgate.

The one thing to watch is pricing movement: hybrid prices have already been revised once after the tax change, so confirm the final ex-factory and on-road price with your dealer at the time of booking.
